How StarFable handles birth data, saved charts, account details, analytics, ads, share links, and newsletter addresses.

May 8, 2026. This policy explains how StarFable handles information when you use the website, create an account, save charts, join the newsletter, or interact with ads and analytics.
Information we collect
StarFable asks for birth details such as names, dates of birth, times of birth, and birth cities so the app can calculate charts. City selections may include location and timezone information needed for chart calculations. If you create an account, we store your email address, profile details, saved chart pairs, shareable chart identifiers, and account preferences. If you join the newsletter without an account, we store the email address you submit.
How we use information
We use birth and chart data to calculate synastry charts, composite charts, compatibility scores, interpretations, saved chart libraries, and shareable result pages. We use account information to let you sign in, save chart pairs, and manage preferences. Newsletter addresses are used for occasional StarFable updates and relationship astrology notes.
Guests and saved charts
You can run a compatibility chart as a guest. Guest results are shown in your current session and are not added to a saved library unless you sign in and choose to save them. If you create a shareable result URL, anyone with that link may be able to view the shared result.
Analytics and advertising
StarFable uses Vercel Analytics to understand site performance and page usage, and Google AdSense to display ads. Google products may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where allowed, personalization. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland may see Google's consent message before certain ad technologies are used.
Service providers
StarFable uses service providers including Supabase for authentication and database storage, Vercel for hosting and analytics, and Google for AdSense ads and consent tools. These providers process information as needed to operate, secure, measure, and improve the service.
How we share information
We do not sell birth data or saved chart data. We may share information with service providers that help operate StarFable, when required by law, or when needed to protect the service and its users. Shared chart links are controlled by the person who creates or shares the link.
Security
We use account authentication, database permissions, and server-side access controls to protect saved chart data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so only save or share chart information you are comfortable storing in an online account.
Your choices
You can use StarFable as a guest, create an account, save chart pairs, or delete information you no longer want to keep by contacting us. You can update account details and newsletter preferences from your account page. If you joined the newsletter without an account, you can ask us to remove your email address.
Children
StarFable is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to StarFable, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
